Who is Eligible: Anyone is eligible to take the exam, but it is recommended that applicants have a combination of the following -4,000 hours of work in the landscape industry. 2,000 hours of work in the landscape industry plus the successful completion of a two-year or four-year curriculum in the landscape field. Preparing for the test: To allow sufficient time for study, persons should apply for examination well in advance of the test date. This Price is for One Person taking all C.E.O. Classes 701-710. The class consists of both a classroom setting and a hands-on approach.

Class #701: Certified Equipment Operator (CEO)Guidelines for Clothing and Personal Protective EquipmentThis class is one of the 10 courses designed to meet the needs of the C.E.O. Certification ( Certified Equipment Operator ). You learn about Guidelines for Clothing And Personal Protective Equipment including: Daily Maintenance Checklist,Safety, Known Allergies, Lifting, Communications & Emergency Contacts. Name at least ten possible emergency situations you could encounter on the job and how you can prepare in the event of a medical emergency.Class #702: Certified Equipment Operator (CEO)Guidelines for Job Site SafetyThis class is one of the 10 courses designed to meet the needs of the C.E.O. Certification ( Certified Equipment Operator ). You learn about Precautions on the following subjects: Barricades, Chemicals, Electricity, and Utility Locations. Name at least ten possible emergency situations you could encounter on the job and how you can prepare in the event of a medical emergency.Class #703: Certified Equipment Operator (CEO)Guidelines for Hand Tools and Personal SafetyThis class is one of the 10 courses designed to meet the needs of the C.E.O. Certification ( Certified Equipment Operator ). You learn about Guidelines for Hand Tools And Personal Safety. Accidents can be significantly reduced by applying good general safety rules. Even though hand and power tools are used every day in many types of businesses, we fail to recognize the hazards these tools may present. Learn how to match the tool to the job, the importance of ” state of mind ” as well as personal protective equipment, good safety practices, tool care and maintenance, and more. Certification ( Certified Equipment Operator ). Name at least ten possible emergency situations you could encounter on the job and how you can prepare in the event of a medical emergency.Class #710: Certified Equipment Operator (CEO)Guidelines for Driving Truck & Trailer Equipment Safety & MaintenanceThis class is one of the 10 courses designed to meet the needs of the C.E.O. Certification ( Certified Equipment Operator ). You learn about: The safe operation of truck and trailer equipment. Learn about loading, securing, and hauling techniques; trailer-to-attachment; methods of determining weigtht limits; backing up, and more. List the items to check before truck operation each day. List the safety items that should be carried in a truck. Describe how to back up a trailer. List the items to check regularly for safe operation of a trailer. List ten Driver Safety Tips.
